Directions for Making Rawbasco Hot Sauce

Follow these directions to prepare the Rawbasco Hot Sauce vegan recipe.
Wear gloves for this. The jalepenos are very hot and can be painful on your skin and fingernails. Be very careful not to touch our eyes or face when making this. Also wash your hands thoroughly when done.

Cut the stems off of the jalepenos then cut them in half. Remove the seeds from the jalepenos.

Add jalepenos with the juice from two fresh limes. If the limes are dry, you may need to use three. Add two big shakes of sea salt then blend until you have a smooth red/pink sauce/

Pour the sauce through cheesecloth (or twice through a strainer) to remove chunks, foam and seeds. You want to end up with a bright red sauce (it may have a little foam).

We like to take an old store-brand hot sauce bottle, clean it our, then put our home made hot sauce into it. Looks cool that way.
